After seven month Hasha Rani took a loan of TK. 2500 from small enterprise development of DDP for professional handicrafts business purpose. Then she purchased bamboo by this money. Hasha Rani work with her husband in their house. They made many things by this bamboo and sells to the market. They earned money from this business and repayment her loan easily. After some days she took another loan of TK. 4000 from their small enterprise development of DDP. Hasha Rani’s working very well now. They earned minimum 150 taka per day. Now they are able to maintain their family as per needed. She rebuild their house, setup a tube well, hygienic latrine in her house. Her children are going to the school now and her families are really aware about their health. She and her family are pleased to Symbiosis. They feel their combined work and income is much better from previous.
Analysis: This story shown that, she became empowered and changed her life with her own effort and partial support from Symbiosis. If we give little effort towards poor and helpless people then we can change their life easily. We believe that other community people who are economically solvent will also stand beside those poor and helpless people. |
